2 - By Wordpress : In this method you can upload theme zip file (lotus.zip) directly from wordpress admin panel.

in wordpress admin, go to appearance > themes > install themes. browse theme zipped file and hit Install Now. your theme will be uploaded and installed

Activation :

great! now you have installed your theme, now you just need to activate the theme. go appearance > themes, here you can see the installed themes. under theme screenshot , hit activate link. you are done!

Blog Setting in option panel

First we need to take a look at Blog setting. so navigate to Lotus options > Blog setting. Important options are :

Single Sidebar Position : When you open a post in single page, here you can specify the sidebar position.

Display Related Post : If you want to display related posts at the bottom of each single post page, check this option.

Display Author Section : Do you want to display author information on each single post page?

( For Editing author information , please navigate to Users page , then select the user from table. In user profile page, you can set social and Biographical Informations )

when you made changes hit Save Setting button

You can select your fotmat from Format section

When ever you select one of these formats, automaticaly the options related to that format apears.

Let's take a look at these options

Galley Format Options

in this format you can display serveral images as slideshow. after you choose Gallery format, these option apears:

Browse each image , and after upload hit "Insert into post" button.

If you add more than 1 image , images appreas as a slideshow on post.

Quote Format Options

in this format you can display post as a Quote.

it is completely straight forward, you need to add the quote and author here. that is it.

Video Format Options

in this format you can display a video on your post. Youtube, vimeo and self hosted video are supported.

for youtube or vimeo video, just paste the video url and leave other fields blank

for Self Hosted video, you need to leave youtube and vimeo field blank. then in self hosted section add your self video url in correct field.

Please note that, it is very important to insert each video file url in correct field, else video player fails to play video properly.

At the end, choose player skin. by default dark skin in selected.

Audio Format Options

in this format you can display an audio player on your post. Just self hosted audio files are supported.

How to Create Blog Listing Page

Create new page (Pages > Add New), then :

1 - insert your desired title ( for example "Blog" )

2 - From template option, select Blog or Blog Medium

3 - In Layout option select the page layout. Select "Right Sidebar" if you want to have sidebar on your Blog Listing Page

Go to Appearance > Menus

1 - Select header navigation

2 - Select "Blog" from Pages section

3 - Hit Add to Menu button

Portfolio Setting in option panel

Navigate to Lotus options > Portfolio setting. options are :

Display Related Projects : Switch it to On, if you want to display related projects at the bottom of each portfolio single page.

Here you can translate or change default meta labels. Meta labels are the information that will be displied in each portfolio item page.
( default meta labels are : Skills, Release Date, Client, Copyright )

Feature Image (Cover Image)

You Must set this image, this is the Cover Image,

Portfolio Previews

Here you can upload and add several images for this portfolio items.

Click Browse, upload your image and finaly hit Inster Into Post

After upload you can see image preview beside upload controls

Portfolio Options

Portfolio Layout : This option allow you to display images on "Left" or "Right" side of the page.

Highlight This Portfolio : If you choose "Yes", in Portfolio Listing Page, the cover image of this item appears 2x bigger in height.

Portfolio Tags/Filters : This is something similar to post tags. This is usefull when you want to have a filterable portfolio.

How to Create Portfolio Listing Page?

Create new page (Pages > Add New), then :

1 - insert your desired title ( for example "Our Works" )

2 - In "Options" section, change Layout value to No Sidebar, if you do not need sidebar on this page.

3 - Open "Page Builder" and add a Portfolio element

4 - Expand portfolio element by clicking (+) button

5 - Click on edit button , now you are in portfolio element setting page

6 - Follow the instruction and select the portfolio items you want to display

7 - Hit save button on setting page. then go to top and click publish.

Product Setting in option panel

Navigate to Lotus options > Product setting. options are :

Navigate to Lotus options > News setting. Important options are :

Service Edit Page

1 - create new service (Services > Add New)

2 - Insert Service name in title field

3 - insert your service description in editor

Display Setting

Custom Icon : This feature allow you to choose a shape from availabe shapes. This shape will be displaied at the top of this service in Service Listing page

Create new page (Pages > Add New), then :

How to Create Staff Listing Page?

Create new page (Pages > Add New), then :

1 - insert your desired title ( for example "Our Staff" )

2 - In "Options" section, change Layout value to No Sidebar(if you do not need sidebar on this page ).

3 - Open "Page Builder" and add a Staff element

4 - Expand Staff element by clicking (+) button

5 - Click on edit button , now you are in setting page

6 - Follow the instruction and select the departman you want to display

7 - Hit save button on setting page. then go to top and click publish.

2 - Add Customer name in "Customer Name" field

3 - Add the testimonial (what your customer saied) in editor

Customer Info

Now, you need to fill customer informations. All fields are optional, skip any field that you do not have proper informations.

How to add testomonials(s) to pages?

Create new page(Pages > Add New), or open one of existing pages (Pages > All Pages)

1 - Open "Page Builder" and add a Testimonial element

2 - Expand Testimonial element by clicking (+) button

3 - Click on edit button , now you are in setting page

4 - Follow the instruction and select testimonial or testimonials

-- If you want to display a specific testimonial, in "Display items(s) From" option, select "Specific", then select the testimonial name from "Select Testimonial Item" option.

-- If you want to display several testimonials, in "Display items(s) From" select "Category", then leave the "Select Testimonial Item" blank, and select testimonial category from "Select Testimonial Category" option.

5 - in "Appearance Type" option, you can select to display testimonial as blockquote or stunning box type.

6 - Hit save button on setting page. then go to top and click publish.

1 - create new Price Table (Price Table > Add New)

2 - Add table name in "Title" field

3 - Now in Price Table Builder, first you need to add columns and rows.

4 - Add any number of columns by clicking Add New Column button.

5 - Add any number of rows by clicking Add New Row button.

6 - For removing row or column, click the yellow button beside them.

7 - Fill cells content.

8 - At the bottom of each column you can display a button. for this purpose, fill "Button Label" and "Button Link" fields.

9 - If you want to bold e column(featured column), select "Featured" from "featured" field

10 - All columns have default style. you can change each column style from "color" field.

11 - Save the table.

1 - create new Page (Pages > Add New)

2 - Add page title in "Title" field (for example "Sample Page")

3 - Now , you can insert the content in editor.

Display Options

Display Page Title : This option allow you to hide page title. this option is useful when we need display slider at top of the page

Subtitle : This option allow you to add a subtitle under page title. leave it blank if you do not need subtitle.

Layout : Do you need a full with page, or a page with sidebar? options are "Right Sidebar", "Left Sidebar", "No Sidebar" (full with page)

Display Page margin : By default each new page has a blank space at the top before page title. with this option you can remove this space. (It's useful when you want to start page contents at very top of the page)

Slider Options

This theme comes with 5 awesome sliders. you can create slider by these sliders, then you can add it to any page.

We assume you have created sliders.Now with these options you can add created sliders to this page

Page Slider : In this list you can select one of created sliders. This slider will appears at the top of page.

Slider Width : If you choose "Full", the slider fits to the page width.else Slider wraps in a box.

Please note that this option is only for [flex] and [nivo] slider. For other sliders (Cute slider, Layer slider, Revolution slider) you can set this option directly in slider's setting panel.

Slider Divider : You can select a divider to be displaied at the bottom of slider

Background Setting

This is a very handy option, with this option you can specify a custom background for each page.

You have option to add both image and color background. use color picker for selecting color, or use image uploader for assigning image background

To add background image, click browse button, upload the image and finaly hit "Insert ino Post" button

Custom Sidebar

If you want a page with sidebar, as said before, first you need to select "Right Sidebar" or "Left Sidebar" for "Layout" option. then you need to select a sidebar.

In this option you can select a sidebar from available sidebars in dropdown list. (If there is no sidebar name in list, or you want to create more sidebars, use Sidebar Generator tool to create more sidebars)

1 - Add page elements by clicking on toolbar icons.

2 - change element size by "increase" (+) , "decrease" (-) button

3 - reposition elements by drag and drop

4 - change each element option by clicking on "edit" button

Each element has some setting. Click on edit button on each page element. A popup setting page appears, you can change the setting , save the setting nad publish the page. Now you can see the changes in actions

How to Create a Slider, By Slider Manager

1 - Create new Slider (Sliders > Add New)

2 - Add slider name in "Title" field

3 - Select Slider type (Select "Nivo Slider" if you want slider with 2d effects, or "Flex slider", if you need a simple and light-weight slider).

4 - Now, a setting panel will apears. Choose your desired options (hover the help icon if you need descriptions for any option)

5 - Create new slides by clicking on "Add new Slide" Button.

6 - Click on "Click Here To Add An Image" button to upload slide image, after upload hit "Insert into Post Button"

7 - You can add caption and link on each slide. If the slider type is "Nivo", you can also set transition for each slide in "effect" tab. (by default, the transition for all slides is "random")

8 - Use the dark handle to sort the slides.

9 - Save slider.

Go to Lotus Options > General Setting

You see a page like this screenshot. Here you can change site global options.

Website Layout : With this option you can make site "Full" or "Boxed". If you choose "Boxed", site content will wrap in a box

Website Background Setting : This option allow us to customize website background (this background will be applied to all pages)

Logo & Favicon : Here you can upload your site logo and favicon. click "Browse" button, upload your image and finaly hit "Insert into Post"

Custom Css code : If you know about CSS, and you want to make changes by css code, paste your css code in this field. (Please do not modify theme css files, in this way you are in risk of losing your custom css code, on theme update )

Custom Js code : You can add your custom javascript code here. also you can use this field to place your google analytics tracking code.

Top Header Info Bar

Display Top Header bar : If you check this field, a narrow bar will apears on very top of website. then you can display socials, search and a message on this bar.

Other options allow you to display social, search and message on header bar

Main Header Options & Header Navigation Options

Enable Custom Header Style : by default, this theme uses default styles for header section and header navigation. If you need to make changes to this section, you should check this field

Then use color pickers to set new color for elements.

Sidebar Generator

This tool allow you to add any number of sidebars

The process is so simple. Enter New Sidebar Name (unique name) and hit "Create Sidebar" button

Display Subfooter : If you want to display subfooter (footer widgets container) before footer area, check this field.

Subfooter Layout : How many widget column you need in sebfooter? choose your desired layout.

Display Subfooter : If you want to display socials in footer area, check this field. (you can customize socials in Lotus Options > Socials Setting)

Footer Copyright Text : Enter your copyright ters in this field.

How to setup Menu

in admin area Go to Appearance > Menus .in this page you can add or remove menu .

Add new menu by clicking on (+) tab. then add available pages from left panel to current menu

Save the menu.
